28 Days of Valentines
Cal/Chloe
Harper’s Island was an awesome show! Seriously, check it our if you haven’t yet. If nothing else, there were plenty of former Supernatural cast members on it. Anyway, these two were my favorite characters and my favorite pairing. At the start, Chloe looks like a shallow bimbo who’s only with Cal for money and security. Cal looks like a complete loser who’s only with Chloe because she’s hot. But, as time goes on, it becomes clear that that is not the case at all. These two honestly loved each other. That’s why they were together. They wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. They would have done anything for each other. They proved to be so much more than met the eye. It was beautiful. I don’t want to give too much away but I will say that the last time we see them is some powerful stuff.
Harper’s Island → Cal and Chloe
when i started to watch Harper’s island i wouldn’t have thought that i would cry…this scene is so sad:( in the beginning i thought they where shallow persons…but later -in this episode- it turned out that they truly loved each other. while watching the other episodes we could see that Cal’s not that strong type still when the love of his life was in danger he tried to defend her. even at the expense of his life. and Chloe chose to be with him forever instead of running away…because she could have escaped…gosh how i cried…:(

30 Day TV Show Challenge.
Last day.
Day 30 - Saddest character death.
I know this is technically two characters, but Cal and Chloe’s death from Harper’s Island was the hardest for me. I loved Cal. He was my favorite on the show and I was rooting for him since the beginning, although, I kind of figured he’d get killed off in the long run. What pains me the most is the whole sequence though. Them finally becoming engaged after him contemplating the first seven or so episodes. Then the good time being ruined. Despite Chloe being advertised as “the flirt”, she wasn’t really. She loved Cal and Cal knew she did, which is why he did all he did for her. He’d rather end his life than have her die. And for Chloe, it was hard. The entire show, I felt Cal was the only one who really went above and beyond in their relationship. Then she did this. Saying “you can’t have me” and committing suicide before Wakefield could get her and to be with Cal, who was just murdered before her eyes, I thought it was hauntingly beautiful.
